Abstract
This paper presents the process of adsorption of holmium ions on magnetically modified activated carbon. The adsorbent properties were analyzedby methods such as SEM, XRD,and the PZC was determined. The adsorption processes were carried out without a magnetic field and with the use of an external magnetic field generated by a neodymium magnet. A solution of Ho3+with a concentration of 40 ppm was used, and the concentrations before and after wereanalyzedby the MP-AES method.The obtained results indicate the difference inthe obtained final concentration depending on the use of the external field.
