Abstract

This publication presents a research experiment conducted as part of acceptance control measurement of the overpass bridge. Supporting structure of the examined overpass is a single-span arch with an integrated bridge deck. The longitudinal beams are designed as tie beams of the bridge. In cross sections, the arched girders are tilted to the center of the structure and based on abutments using bearings. Theoretical span length of the tested structure was 90 meters. Presented calculation and analysis include displacements of a span and bridge supports under static load tests, as well as an analysis of their dynamic behavior. The values obtained experimentally were compared to theoretical calculations. The experiment was carried out to check whether the structure had a sufficient load capacity and rigidity, whether it was safe and its parameters corresponded to the normative guidelines. The studies were supplemented with an accurate survey of the structure, performedwith the use of a terrestrial laser scanner for the control of the load bearing elements with particular emphasis on longitudinal and transverse beams. © SGEM2013 All Rights Reserved by the International Multidisciplinary Scientific GeoConference SGEM.
