Abstract
Recently, the concept of autonomous cars has been strongly developed. Much less work of this type concerns autonomous motorcycles, although due to their smaller size and weight, this means of transport also seems to have its field of application. However, due to the dynamics of motion of a two wheeled vehicle, its autonomy is much more difficult. The proposed article concerns the development of a model for controlling the motorcycle's tilt in a corner, which may be one of the most important stages in the design of an autonomous bike. The project assumes control of the inclination of the mass, changing the centre of gravity of the motorcycle, which in turn will allow controlling the inclination, i.e. rotation in the x-axis of the direction of travel (Roll) and the steering torque, allowing the motorcycle to choose the best path. The article will present a dynamic model of the motorcycle and the synthesis of the tilting mass control system, which will force the proper positioning of the motorcycle in the corner.
