Abstract
The bodies representing the State Treasury, as well as the executive bodies of local government units are obliged to manage real estate in a manner which is consistent with the principles of proper management According to the provisions of the Real Estate Management Act, as well as other laws, public property should be managed in the economically reasonable manner and efficiently, observing the principles of expediency and economy. The purpose of this article is to analyze the forms of real estate management implemented by the Municipality of Krakow for compliance with the applicable regulations and principles, and also to determine the prevalence of various market activities in the context of the overall real estate economy of the Municipality.
