Abstract
People produce vast quantities of garbage, what has become the real problem for the world. Despite multi-use recycled packages or existing incinerators, garbage volume still increases and it is necessary to remove it from cities and finally dispose on garbage dumps. The problem is how to do it optimally at the minimal outlay of work and cost. To solve such a problem we could use mobile robots. However the task to manage a group of robots emptying garbage containers located in streets is very complex. Since it seems that a centralized system for such management would be very compound, not flexible and inefficient we propose decentralized approach in the paper. The presented decentralized system is realized as an agent system where agents perform nature-inspired algorithms. We present our proposal of the system and results of simulation examination.
