Abstract
In this paper current technological lines for coating deposition on large surface are presented. A few years ago all the problems with large area deposition were discussed only theoretically, while the largest technological line in Poland was about 15m long. We can add that it was designed by the authors of this paper. Today, on a Polish market two over 100 m length line with a few tens of magnetron sources in each one are installed. It is one of the main reason that the authors are interested in the large area coating deposition field. The authors could now transfer their knowledge on technological problems of large area deposition not only to students but also to engineers working in this new in our country production.
Streszczenie
Przedstawiono współczesne linie technologiczne do nakładania powłok na duże powierzchnie, których wydajności sięgają kilkunastu milionów m2/rok. Obecnie funkcjonują na polskim rynku dwie linie o długości ponad 100 m z zainstalowanymi kilkudziesięcioma magnetronami w części próżniowej, w każdej z nich. Przedstawiono problemy techniczne występujące przy instalacji i użytkowaniu tak wysokowydajnych urządzeń, wytwarzających warstwy nanometrowej grubości i jednorodne optycznie na powierzchniach kilkunastu m2.
