Abstract
The chapter highlights how AI technologies, such as machine learning and natural language processing, enable researchers to analyse vast datasets, uncover complex patterns, and derive insights that were previously unattainable. The chapter discusses the integration of AI in various SSH disciplines, emphasising its role in enhancing data collection, analysis, and visualisation processes. Through a review of recent studies and bibliometric analyses, the chapter identifies key trends and applications of AI in SSH research, including predictive modelling, sentiment analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. It also addresses the ethical considerations associated with AI use, such as data privacy and algorithmic bias, urging researchers to navigate these challenges responsibly. By presenting examples from diverse fields, the chapter illustrates how AI is reshaping research practices and fostering innovative approaches to understanding human behaviour and societal dynamics.
