Abstract

We consider a Dirichlet problem driven by a differential operator with -growth (double phase equation) and a reaction which exhibits the competing effects of “sublinear” and “superlinear” nonlinearities (concave-convex problem). Using the critical point theory, together with truncation and comparison techniques and critical groups, we prove an existence and multiplicity theorem, which is global in the parameter (a bifurcation-type theorem).
