Abstract
In the Two Rotor Aerodynamical System two control loops can be distinguished. Each uses the values of both angles - azimuth and pitch. This makes it possible to use parallel or cascade control on both loops. In the article, it was decided to use the system to check the behavior of hybrid control, which would be a combination of both versions. In azimuth angle loop the parallel version was applied. The pitch angle loop used cascade control. Two versions were prepared - the first one with only Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controllers and the second one with one Fractional Order Proportional Integral Derivative (FOPID). The Grey Wolf Optimizer algorithm was used for optimization purposes. Simulations were carried out in the MATLAB/Simulink environment. The graphs of both angles, the values of the cost function and the execution times were used as a comparison between controllers.
