Abstract
This paper presents the results of the project within the Techmatstrateg II competition, which focuses on developing a new generation of carbon materials with high performance properties and technologies for their production for the use in crystallizers, crucibles, and heating chains, which will be used in the melting, continuous and semi-continuous casting of non-ferrous metals and their alloys. The novelty of the solutions will be based both on the development of a new group of composite materials obtained in the processes of mixing various types of components, their pressing and multi-stage heat treatment, as well as infiltration of graphite with organic and inorganic compounds in combination with carbonization treatment.
