Abstract
The task of proposed simulator is to load the traction drive by taking into account the structure and parameters of an electric vehicle (EV). Therefore, this design leads to determination of vehicle performance in the laboratory instead of road tests. In this paper presents an equivalent loading of the electric motor driving the vehicle has been described. Most of the significant forces acting on EV are considered and recalculated to the motor shaft. Loading torque caused by EV is realized by the DC electric generator with the field winding current control. The control system and its operation was described in the paper.
