Abstract
Nanoheterostructures of n-n type based on TiO2 and SnO2 have been prepared by Flame Spray Synthesis. Basic structural and morphological properties of 50 mol. % TiO2/50 mol.% SnO2 nanopowders have been studied by X-ray diffraction, XRD, scanning electron microscopy SEM and transmission electron microscopy TEM. Gas sensing measurements have been carried out in a static mode under exposure to varying concentration of hydrogen within the range of 50–3000 ppm. Good sensitivity and stable responses have been detected at 350°C.
