Abstract
A Polish coal and the coal char were steam-gasified at 850-950 degrees C under 0.1 MPa to det. the kinetics of the H-2, CO, CO2 and MeH formation. The reaction rate consts. were higher for the gasification of coal than that of the coal char but the activation energies were higher for the coal char than that for the coal. The compns. of the gaseous products did not differ significantly.
