Abstract
The reciprocating extrusion (cyclic extrusion compression - CEC) process was applied to the consolidation of silver powder AgSnBi leading to the bulk material formation. Continue process of deformation by hydrostatic extrusion and then by forging the electrical contacts were produced. Microstructure and microhardness were investigated in every stage of deformation showing development of process consolidation.
