Abstract
Microgravity survey was carried out in the area of shallow exploitation when arose three cave-ins which initially were filled up. The research was conducted to determine the current state of the rock mass for the creation of next cave-ins. Obtained from survey the Bouguer anomaly distribution showed that the exploitation was conducted in two ways in this area: open pit and underground with caving. In the distribution of the residual anomalies were visible some relatively negative anomalies which could be associated with the existence of subsurface zones of reduced bulk density. Three of these anomalies coincide with the area of the former cave-ins, which seems obvious. Other anomalies indicate the existence of zones of reduced density, which can be a cause of the future deformation of the ground surface. It was proposed to make drillings in these areas to confirm existence of voids or loosened zones and to next liquidation by backfilling. Therefore conclude, microgravity method allows to find voids and loosened zones in the rock mass and the allow to precise position of the wells to their liquidate. Microgravity survey allows to greatly reduces the cost of post-mining reclamation.
