Abstract

The article depicts the structure of supplies and consumption of natural gas in Poland during last years. There is shown the amount of consumption and the participation of natural gas in the structure of primary energy's consumption in selected EU countries and directions of import of this fuel. Moreover, the article presents the amount of natural gas reserves possessed by countries mentioned above and their influence on assuring the energy security.
