Abstract
The organic matter in the Krosno formation is represented by type-III kerogen whereas in the Menilite, Inoceramian and Spas shales it ranges from type-II to type-II + III. The vitrinite reflectance values determined for the Krosno and Menilite shales point out that the rocks are immature, while the Inoceramian and Spas shales indicate transformation degree corresponds with the oil window.
