Abstract
The monolithic method of assembly scheduling for multistage assembly systems is presented. The mathematical linear models with binary decision variables are constructed for the method. The cost criterion is used in the minimization function. The proposed models are used to a fixed assembly schedule with minimal differences between the operation time and the preferred producing term for all products. The models are constructed for two different assembly systems configurations: with intermediate buffers and without buffers (scheduling problem with blocking). The two types of flow are regarded: unidirectional and flow with return abilities. The schedule is divided into time intervals in the method. Results of computational experiments with proposed method are presented.
