Streszczenie
Przedstawiono krytyczne uwagi dotyczące oznaczenia ciśnienia rozprężania w oparciu o PN-73/G – 04522. Uwagi te dotyczą trzech etapów oznaczenia, tj. przygotowania próbki, przygotowania aparatury oraz wykonania oznaczenia. Przygotowanie próbek nie gwarantuje zapewnienia ich reprezentatywności, sprawia, iż zbyt szerokie spektrum uziarnienia może być źródłem znacznego błędu, a ponadto winno być realizowane na podstawie nieaktualnej już Polskiej Normy. W zakresie przygotowania aparatury do oznaczenia autor wskazał na ewidentny błąd dotyczący wymaganej objętości próbki w tyglu pomiarowym, która jest w praktyce niemożliwa do uzyskania. W przypadku wykonania oznaczenia wątpliwość budzi wymagana szybkość ogrzewania próbki (10 K/min), zbyt długie (5 minutowe) odstępy między kolejnymi odczytami ciśnienia oraz brak ciągłej ewakuacji lotnych produktów pirolizy z przestrzeni między dnem tygla pomiarowego a elementami grzejnymi.
Abstract
The paper presents critical remarks on determination of expansion pressure according to Polish Standard PN-73/G – 04522. The remarks refer to three stages of the Standard procedure i.e., /i/ preparation of coal sample; /ii/ inserting the sample into measuring apparatus and /iii/ measurements of the pressure. The procedure of coal sample preparation results in excessively wide range of grain size distribution of coal samples prepared from two different coalsas well as in the case when the samples were derived from the same coal. Moreover, no longer effective Polish Standard was recommended as the procedure of coal sample preparation. With regard to apparatus preparation for determination, the author points to an evident error related to the required sample volume in the measuring cylinder, which is in fact, impossible to obtained in practise. In the case of carrying out the measurements, the required heating rate (10 K/min); excessively long intervals (5 min) between the succesive readings of the expansion pressure; lack of continuous removal of volatile pyrolysis products from the space between the bottom of the measuring cylinder and heating elements raise doubts.
