Abstract
The closing processes of coal mine results in the occurrence of the so-called post-mining areas. The paper presents the results of the analysis of the continuous deformations of the surface and the seismic activity in the premises of the Morcinek coal mine in a period after finishing the exploitation. The decrease of continuous deformation and the limited decreasing number of quakes excludes a possibility of a considerable hazard to the area and the buildings on surface.
Streszczenie
Efektem procesów likwidacyjnych kopalń węgla kamiennego jest pojawianie się w dotychczasowych obszarach górniczych tzw. terenów pogómiczych. Artykuł zawiera wyniki analizy deformacji ciągłych powierzchni terenu oraz aktywności sejsmicznej obszaru kopalni „Morcinek" po zaprzestaniu eksploatacji. Zanikający charakter deformacji ciągłych oraz ograniczona i malejąca liczba wstrząsów wykluczają możliwość wystąpienia większego zagrożenia dla terenu i posadowionych na nim budowli.
