Abstract
In the paper there are presented the calculations of the drag coefficient in the surroundings between the laminar and transient region for Re = 0.25 and between the and transient and turbulent region for Re = 120. Calculations of settling velocity of the single particle are carrying out. The calculations proved, that in this transient region appear significant differences which can be limited applying the Adamow formula.
