Abstract
CAPTCHA is an important method used to ensure the security of webpages and systems. Even though the first CAPTCHA types were created decades ago, new CAPTCHA types still emerge – new types are needed to provide more security, while still being user-friendly. In this publication, we propose an idea for a new possible direction in the development of CAPTCHA methods, Idea-Concentration CAPTCHA, which can be based on text, images, and different types, such as audio. We concentrate on the Idea-Concentration CAPTCHA based on texts and the Idea-Concentration CAPTCHA based on images. The idea of this type of CAPTCHA assumes that the user needs to notice correct words or images and acknowledge them in the correct order, by the changing amount or intensity of the thing that is stated in the CAPTCHA task. The paper consists of an introduction to the background of CAPTCHA, a description of the possible methods of creation of the text-based and image-based Idea-Concentration CAPTCHAs, an analysis of possible advantages and disadvantages of the proposed CAPTCHA creation methods, and the CAPTCHAs themselves.
