Abstract
A hydrogel dressing comprising at least one layer of a hydrogel matrix with at least one bioactive substance, characterized in that the said hydrogel matrix contains from 4 to 8 wt.% of an aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and 4 wt.% of an aqueous solution of sodium tetraborate (borax), and the bioactive substance is sheep milk in an amount of from 5 to 20 wt.% and/or camel milk in an amount of from 2.5 to 15 wt.%.The invention further relates to a method of producing the hydrogel dressing.
