Abstract
The article addresses the perception of issues related to the circular economy in the agricultural sector. Agriculture is a sector responsible for a significant portion of greenhouse gas emissions on the planet, as well as resource consumption. Therefore, the widespread adoption of circular economy practices is beneficial in the context of sustainable development. The authors conducted qualitative research among Polish farmers, focusing on attitudes and knowledge regarding circular agriculture. The publication distinguishes two areas within the realm of sustainable development: 1) areas that meet the approval of respondents; and 2) areas that farmers are not interested in. These areas are defined, and recommendations are made for the practical implementation of the key principles of circular agriculture.
