Abstract
The subject of the invention relates to a system for in vitro electro stimulation of cells, comprising:- plurality of independent, separate culture wells, wherein each separate culture well (1) is formed as a self-contained container in the shape of a geometric solid, having side walls (40) and a bottom, forming the base (20) of the well;- a PCB (3) on which electrodes of opposite signs are mounted in pairs to supply an electrical charge, which electrodes are connected to a power supply unit, the PCB being provided with appropriately arranged openings (10) for visual observation of cultures in the culture wells and with a housing configured to house the culture wells and the PCB the system being characteristic by independent separate culture wells (1) that are made of flexible biocompatible plastic material that can withstand autoclave sterilization temperatures and have a base (20) of the well that is shaped in a form of a flange element and made of translucent plastic, which base (20), together with the side walls (40) of the well (1) define a well chamber having electrodes (30) of opposite signs made of flexible material arranged in the base (20) of each well (1), wherein the individual culture wells (1) are arranged on the PCB (3) in correlation with the openings (10) and further the system can be equipped with a microcomputer (6) with a power supply unit.
