Abstract
The conducted research was related to the integration of scanning measurements taken from a drone and terrestrial stations for the observatory dome. Each method has certain limitations in the scanning head positioning concerning the building object. As a result, there are gaps and measurement errors in each point cloud. The integrated cloud allows for full coverage of the object with points. It also allows for replacing data points with measurement errors with observations from the second method. The accuracy of UAV scanning can be improved with results from other measurement methods. The research aimed to integrate the UAV and terrestrial cloud in a way, that would raise the accuracy of UAV measurements to a level comparable to terrestrial scanning. The research was able to integrate clouds with an average error of 6 mm. Further analysis showed that the differences between UAV and terrestrial measurements are generally within 5 mm.
