Abstract
This article presents the biogas production system as an effective and sustainable management of municipal and production waste, combined with biogas production and promotion of green energy. In Poland the biogas and biomethane sector are at the stage of legislative and technological transformation. It has enormous potential, biogas and biomethane are an essential part of the energy mix and could be crucial to the country's energy security in the coming years. Despite years of preparation, its potential and technology development, incentive and support programs are lacking. The so-called 'sectoral agreement', signed at the end of November 2021, heralds hope for improvement in the situation.
Streszczenie
W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono system produkcji biogazu, jako efektywnego i zrównoważonego zarządzania odpadami komunalnymi i produkcyjnymi, połączonego z wytwarzaniem biogazu oraz promocją ekologicznej energii. W Polsce sektor biogazu i biometanu jest na etapie transformacji legislacyjnej i technologicznej. Posiada ogromny potencjał, biogaz i biometan są niezbędnym elementem miksu energetycznego i w najbliższych latach mogą być kluczowe dla bezpieczeństwa energetycznego kraju. Pomimo wielu lat przygotowań, potencjału i rozwoju technologii, brakuje programów motywacyjnych i wsparcia. Nadzieję na poprawę sytuacji zapowiada podpisane z końcem listopada tzw. „porozumienie sektorowe”.
