Abstract
An application of the AHP in the methodology of designing the revitalisation of post-mining regions has been presented in this article. A hierarchy of factors and the best ways for the regeneration of exploited region were established by experts. There were two groups of experts: the first one included experts related to the revitalised region, while the second one was made up of independent representatives from scientific institutions. Separate results from both groups of experts and the collective results of the judgements are shown in the paper.
