Abstract
This work presents a simulation environment created for studying wastewater treatment processes in large wastewater treatment plant located in Kraków/Plaszów, Paper presents the adaptation of a BSM1 model in this task. The reference simulation is performed to obtain reference measurement data. The numerical framework implements the Kalman filter for estimating the ammonia in the sewage influent, which is a fundamental parameter for the plant operation. © 2021 IEEE.
