Abstract
The aim of the article will be to present the current state of implementation of adaptation measures to climate change in Poland and Slovakia on the example of selected urban agglomerations. These agglomerations are also cities with great tourism potential. Adaptation to climate change has become an important element of urban policy in the Member States of the European Union. The currently used environmental risk assessment methodologies (including environmental sensitivity, vulnerability) and the proposed adaptation measures will be assessed. The greatest attention will be devoted to activities in spatial planning and water management.
