Abstract
The article discusses the construction of a vision-based system and software development intended for the measurement of thread parameters. Measurement is realized by rotation mechanism and line scan camera to project side surface of thread to flat image. Vision program contain algorithm for detecting defect on thread. The paper describes the method of hardware integration, image acquisition method and measurement algorithms. © 2020 SPIE
