Abstract
Distribution power network reconfiguration is one of the methods to reduce the costs of outages by isolating a part of the network where the failure occurred. Different benchmarks are used to evaluate reliability for power distribution grids. Optimization of one of the reliability factors does not necessarily improve other factors. In this paper, we present a multiobjective optimization algorithm to solve the problem of the optimal switches placement. SAIDI, SAIFI, and EENS indexes are used as objectives functions in the multiobjective optimization. A test model of the grid used for simulations has a radial topology with one feeder. Results of case study analyzes show that for these three indicators a Pareto-front can be found already for the location of two switches.
