Abstract
The most used materials in crushers, mills, etc., for abrasive resistant parts are iron alloys. These materials are characterized by high wear resistance due to their hardness. Presently crusher manufacturers are searching for materials which extent working life of these parts. The solution of their expectations are composite materials, for example, cast steel or cast iron reinforced with ceramic particles. These materials offer higher hardness and significantly improve wear resistance of equipment applied in wear environment [1-2].
