Abstract
Lignite was briquetted with oat straw and cellulose fibers (30% by mass) in a cylindrical die at moisture content 18.6-27.9% to det the pressure-d. relationships, d., elongation of briquettes, as well as axial and specific crushing strength and shatter index of briquettes. The mech. strength of the briquettes increased with decreasing in the moisture content in the briquetted mixts. and increasing the unit pressure exerted.
