Abstract
In this paper a wideband six-port reflectometer, composed of coupled-line directional couplers is proposed. It is shown that modifications applied to the classic solution have allowed for increasing the operational bandwidth. In addition, the obtained structure is easily scalable for further bandwidth broadening. For the experimental verification, the performance of two manufactured versions of proposed six-port has been verified by measuring their S-parameters with a VNA. The results have confirmed the expected performance improvement comparing to the well-known solution.
